Linseed oil is a drying oil that can polymerize into a solid form. Linseed oil can be used on its own or blended with other oils or resins.

Its applications are:
– Binder for decorative paint, varnish and putty
– Wood treatment and preservation
– Reaction initiator for alkyd resins
– Additive for paint as weeting agent or dispersant
– Additive for Offset inks

Linseed oil improves gloss, dispersion of pigments, adhesion on different surfaces, and hydrophobicity of the resin.
